A note about

Tutor Training:

As a new tutor, you can select a “Tutor Track” where you decide if you wish to tutor in Basic Literacy (Reading & Writing), ESOL (English for Speakers of other Languages), or GED preparation.

Once you attend an Orientation, you will decide on your Tutoring Track and attend the appropriate training so that you will gain knowledge in that given area. 

Following your track selection, you will need to attend workshops on Writing as well as Goal Setting/ Lesson Planning*.
